Anime Sensei (YuTaka) · Akihabara, Tokyo
This page explains what happens to your information when you book a tour or contact me. I run this business myself — there is no agency and no marketing team behind it.
What I collect
- When you book: your name, email address, the number of guests, your time zone, and anything you write in the notes field (for example your favourite series).
- When you pay: your payment is processed by Stripe. I receive a record that the payment succeeded, the amount, and the last four digits of your card. I never receive your full card number.
- When you email me: whatever you write, and your email address.
- When you browse: anonymous usage statistics through Google Analytics — which pages were opened, roughly where in the world from, and on what kind of device.
Why I use it
- To run your booking: confirm the date, send you the meeting point, and contact you if something changes.
- To plan your tour around the series you told me about.
- To process payments and issue refunds.
- To keep the accounting records Japanese tax law requires.
- To see which pages people actually read, so I can improve them.
Who else sees it
Only the services needed to run the booking:
- Cal.com — booking calendar and confirmation emails.
- Stripe — card payments.
- Google — Calendar (so your slot is reserved), Analytics, and Fonts.
I do not sell your information, and I do not hand it to advertisers.
Cookies
This site uses Google Analytics cookies to count visits. You can block them in your browser settings, or with Google's opt-out add-on, and the site will still work normally. Pages that embed the booking calendar or videos may set cookies from Cal.com and YouTube.
How long I keep it
Booking and payment records are kept for seven years, which is what Japanese tax law requires. Analytics data expires automatically after about 14 months. Emails are kept until they are no longer useful.
Your choices
Email me and I will show you what I hold about you, correct it, or delete it — apart from records I am legally required to keep. If you are in the EU or UK, this covers your rights of access, rectification, erasure and objection under the GDPR.
Children
Bookings must be made by an adult. Younger guests are very welcome on the tour when an adult comes along.
