Booking Terms
The short version of how the day works, so nothing is a surprise.
Booking and payment
- The price depends on how many of you are coming: 1–2 guests ¥15,000 each, 3–4 guests ¥12,500 each, 5 or more ¥11,000 each.
- Payment is taken in full when you book, by card. Your date is held from that moment.
- Book the number of people who will actually come. If your group grows, tell me before the day so I can plan for it.
Changing or cancelling
- Cancel 7 or more days before your tour and you get a full refund, no questions.
- After that I can't refund, because the day is already reserved for you and turned down for others.
- Need a different date? Message me. If I'm free, moving your booking is fine and costs nothing.
- If I have to cancel — illness, a typhoon, anything on my side — you get everything back, whenever it happens.
On the day
- We meet in front of VIE DE FRANCE, the bakery one minute from Akihabara Station.
- The tour runs about four hours. If you're late, we still finish at the planned time.
- If you haven't arrived and I haven't heard from you within 30 minutes, I have to treat it as a no-show.
- We walk a lot and some shops have stairs. Tell me in advance about anything that affects how far or fast we can walk, and I'll build the day around it.
What the price does and doesn't cover
It covers me: planning, guiding, and the whole afternoon with you. Trains, food, arcade coins, entry fees and anything you buy are yours to pay for on the day.
Weather
Rain doesn't stop us — most of Akihabara is indoors, and a wet day is a good excuse to spend longer in the shops. If a typhoon or a warning makes it genuinely unsafe, we reschedule or I refund you in full.
Guests under 18
Very welcome, with an adult in the group. The booking itself has to be made by an adult.
Photos
I usually take a few photos during the day and sometimes share them on Instagram. Tell me at any point if you'd rather not appear — that's completely fine and I won't ask why.
The boring but necessary part
- Please look after your own belongings. I can't be responsible for lost or stolen items.
- Travel insurance is a good idea, as it is anywhere.
- If behaviour becomes unsafe or abusive toward staff, other guests or me, I may end the tour. No refund in that case.
- These terms are governed by Japanese law.

Most things are easier to solve in advance than on the day.
